INAAPT Teacher of the Year Nominations
INAAPT Outstanding High School Physics Teacher Award
The Indiana Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers (INAAPT) seeks nominations annually for the outstanding high school physics teacher award, presented each year at the INAAPT annual spring meeting.
The following criteria are considered by the selection committee when choosing the award recipient:
5 or more years of science teaching experience
Innovative instructional techniques
Sharing at professional meetings
Collaboration with other teachers
In-school leadership in science
Nominations can be made via the form below. At least one statement of support, from principal, evaluator, or colleague is required. Letters of support from others (such as parents or students) are also helpful, but not required. Any supporting materials can be sent via e-mail to the current INAAPT vice president, whose information is provided on the nomination form. Award winner will be selected in mid-March and announced at our Spring Meeting in April. Nominations received after that date or not selected for this year's award will be held for consideration in future years.
