INAAPT Outstanding High School Physics Teacher Award

The Indiana Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers (INAAPT) is seeking nominations for the INAAPT Outstanding High School Physics Teacher Award. The award is presented annually at the INAAPT annual spring meeting.

The following criteria are considered by the selection committee when choosing the award recipient:

-- 5 or more years of science teaching experience 

-- Innovative instructional techniques

-- Sharing at professional meetings

-- Collaboration with other teachers

-- In-school leadership in science

At least one letter of support, from the principal, evaluator, or colleague is required. Letters of support from others (parents or students) are also helpful, but not required. Please use our "contact us" page to get started!

Our meeting will be hosted on Zoom. Please be sure to register online prior to the event. Because our costs will be lower, we are suggesting a contribution of $10 for meeting participants.  You can make your donation using the PayPal button below:

If you are interested in giving a presentation, we have extended our call for abstracts to September 4. If you haven’t yet submitted an abstract, we hope you will consider doing so.
