WORKSHOP: MAPLE in General Physics, Darryl Steinert, Hanover College
Maple, a computer algebra, is used by Physicists and Mathematicians in both teaching and research. Professor Steinert has developed a series of nine work sheets to help students learn Maple and use its abilities to explore problems with mathematical techniques usually beyond the beginning student. If you are unfamiliar with Maple and other similar programs, this is an excellent opportunity to learn how to use it and gather ideas for its use in teaching.
